Grilled BBQ Beef Recipe
Ingredients:
- Marinated beef (from the marinade recipe above)
- Olive oil for brushing
- BBQ sauce (optional, for basting and serving)
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the beef from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
- Lightly brush the beef with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the beef on the grill. The cooking time will vary depending on the cut and thickness of the beef. For example:
- Flank steak: Grill for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Ribeye: Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Brisket: Brisket typically requires slow cooking over indirect heat for several hours. If using a grill, cook on low heat for 3-4 hours, or until tender.
- If desired, brush the beef with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling for added flavor.
- Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the grilled beef with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
Additional Tips:
- For a smoky flavor, consider adding wood chips to your grill.
- Always use a meat thermometer to ensure the beef is cooked to your preferred level of doneness. For medium-rare, the internal temperature should be 135°F (57°C).
- Slice the beef against the grain for maximum tenderness.
Enjoy your BBQ beef with your favorite side dishes like grilled vegetables, corn on the cob, or a fresh salad!
