Cotton tinder firelighters are made of natural, untreated cotton which is soaked in a special solution that includes wax, paraffin and other flammable ingredients. These firelighters are used to easily start a fire in a fireplace or barbecue. To use them, one simply places a firelighter at the base of the firewood, lights it with a match or lighter, and waits for the flame to spread to the logs.
